He is amongst the top notable experts in the areas of soy milk & beverage science and technology. He has successfully developed and commercialized a process of soy milk to improve beany taste profile to an acceptable taste profile. He spearheaded Godrej Foods’s launch of plain soy milk (Sofit) in the year 2004. His efforts contributed to Godrej Foods Ltd winning the ‘Best taste Innovation Award’ in Anuga Fair, Germany in 2003 and then later the ‘India Innovation award 2004’ for product development – Soy Milk and nominated for award in 2005 for developing Ready to Eat wheat porridge with Soy.
His contribution in the development of syrups (chocolate & strawberry) and other soybased products such as cookies and nutri-bars, RTE snacks and porridge is highly recognized by the industry.
